Sorry Lee but the OP is 68 and this is their first forum post. Cutting and pasting from a link, then playing reference number tennis may well be beyond their ability, let alone comfort zone.Vodafone_company_representative wrote: »Hi ConcernedParent,
Thanks for making me aware of your concerns.
For further help with this, email me with your details via the link in our profile here?
All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me, quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line.
Once sent, you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Post back with this and I’ll check I've received it.
Kind regards,
Lee

I think you can, and should, do better for someone who is over 65 and therefore officially vulnerable.
I suggest a direct http link in a post and/or an offer to deal with it directly by forum message is appropriate in this case. (But I understand that you cannot offer this to all).BSC No 248

I know. They haven't been back since they posted last, so don't get your hopes up.
But we have 3 chances.
1. They may have posted and run, never to read this thread again.
2. They have posted once and read the comments, but have not had the courage to post back.
3. They are busy. They will be back in the next week or so.
If it is chance 2 or 3 our posts have not been in vain. Even if it is 1 then someone else with similar circumstances might land here from a google search and get some good advice.
So I don't think our time has been wasted.BSC No 248

Hi Lensman,
I'm afraid we're unable to handle queries via private message, as this option isn't available to company representatives.
We're also unable to provide links to pages independent of MSE due to the posting guidelines which we're required to follow.
The contact details we post have been approved by MSE so customers can contact us privately and securely for help with their queries.
Hopefully the OP with return to the thread soon.
Thanks,
Lee

Baz- it must be very distressing to have to acknowledge how badly your son is behaving. It may seem very harsh to take drastic measures such as changing the locks etc, however this may be the wake up call required to improve his attitude. Otherwise nothing will change and he will get further into trouble; officially (with a trashed credit rating) or unofficially (visits from scary types with baseball bats if he's hanging out with the wrong people). Ultimately you are helping him out with this tough love. All the best. They are an EYESORES!!!!0
