Asda tomato ketchup going cheap!

The big 1kg bottle, usually £1.15, just been and today it's 58p! Bought 6 of them!

The Heinz 700g is £2, and the 1300g one is £3.50ish.

So big saving!

I'm not a ketchup connoisseur. Brown sauce is my thang. And it has to be HP.

But the kids use it to make their meals look like a zombie kill fest at every opportunity, and they don't seem to mind what brand I get. So the 'own brand' stuff it is then. And while it's only 58p, it's time to stock up for the year!

Still £1.15 a bottle in my local Asda this morning ... as it is online.

But they do have Heinz ketchup (460g) in their 4 for £5 offer.
It's part of a wide range of goods and you can mix & match, or just get 4 bottles of ketchup if you want.

Tried the supermarkets own brands before, but my kids won't just touch it ... they'll eat the Aldi own brand if there's no Heinz available, else they prefer to go without ... and that includes the food if I've already put it on for them so they don't see the bottle.

Try Lidl's. I quite like it, tend to buy in the winter when I don't make my own.

Was in Asda this morning and noticed that quite a few of their condiments were reduced. For example there was a small BBQ sauce (280g) for 25p

Not for me but may be on interest to somebody.
