Sales Ledger Deduction

Sorry if in wrong section not sure where it should go.

Basically my girlfriend got her payslip and she got deducted £111 for Sales Ledger Deduction. Never happened before and she been at this job 3 years. Anyone know what this could be as it's quite a lot!

She would need to speak to whoever does the payroll. They have obviously taken something out possibly incorrectly if she wasn't expecting anything. A sales ledger is where they record what they sell, has she bought anything from them which she is now paying for?

Thanks for the reply. No nothing. Very odd. Good to know what it is as never heard of it before. Will get her to ask work.

yes, that'd be my take on it also


has she bought (or do they think she's bought) any possibly discounted company product, which is special offer for employees, and forgot to pay for it - some super keen albeit lacking in social skills credit controller some place else in the company sees that and rather than talk to her presses the button - best line of inquiry - check that one out.
