265 days to debt freedom...

Hello!
265 days to go...
Debt: £10,318.85
After a few months lurking on these boards, and a frugal few months, I have made the FIRST overpayment of my loan. It feels amazing... This has lowered my debt to £10,318.85. I can't wait (sadly) until the 1st June when then next direct debit payment will be taken as the amount I owe will be below £10k. This just feels so much more manageable and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Why 265 days? It's 265 days until my 29th birthday and come hell or high water this debt will be gone.
I'd like to write a longer post, but i'm taking a two pronged approach to becoming debt free. 1) spending less to pay back more and 2) earning more to pay back more. To do this I am taking my professional qualifications which will lead to a pay rise, so therefore I must log off and study!!
Thanks guys for the inspiration. Pop back every now and then to see how i'm getting on. I love cooking, so maybe i'll post some of my tasty money saving recipes when i don't feel guilty for not studying!!
