Self employed on a zero hour contract

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I've been working for a company for three weeks now, I did have a fortnight trial to make sure we were both happy with the way things are going.
I am happy in the job and it's easy enough to do. My boss told me yesterday that they are keeping me on but it would be on a self employed zero hour contract, not that they were thinking of getting rid of me any time soon. But it would only be for the next 3-4 months until the business is fully sorted and working like a well oiled machine. I would have to pay my own tax and national insurance.
I'm not sure how to go about paying my own tax and national insurance, but also what happens with holiday entitlement ect?
Thanks in advance

Cowboy outfit get a different job
there is no such thing as self employed zero hours contract.
what are they saying they will pay you per hour?
self employed you get nothing but some money you need higher rates to cover the overheads sick and holidays.
how much did they pay for the trial?
To be self employed you have to register with HMRC.0
