So I hopped skipped and jumped up to here. What is going on??:( we have people proudly posting £100 APGs  and I can't be the only one but I'll just say what everyone is thinking......how many of the are the reed thingies being returned because no-one could possibly stand the same smell for that amount of time??
Then we have the 'who is starting the new thread' debate.......who cares? Why does it have to be such a dilemma? We're all here, aren't we? There's a very small group of people (who rarely post here) that make it their mission to engineer who starts threads........no, I'm not mad, it really happens  there are people here who don't dare start a thread because the thread starter police might not like it. It's pathetic!
in other news, my cat died. It's saddened me a lot but I didn't want sympathy because I would have cried.....a lot!and Real life goes on
Sorry to hear that.
As regards the thread starter business, I'd dread being nominated (not that it would happen) but it would probably turn out to be the time when the thread naturally evolves into a failing tumbleweed farm and I'd likely be remembered and cursed as the blundering dolt who killed the thread!:eek:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Never mind all that crap, Grazia mag has giftcards of varying value inside for Topshop :j :money:. Mags aren't sealed and the codes are now common knowledge so you can flick through and find the best value ones :rotfl:
Sorry to hear about your catI know you don't want sympathy but tough titties because you are getting some!
Thanks doll:heart2:

:(:(:(
and everything else you said was spot onYNWA JFT96 :A0 -
thinking about Topshop....
I wonder if you have to buy something for £20+ and then they give you a voucher worth £5,£10, £20, £50, £100, £250 with your receipt  Kind of like Ts Helping Hands but with no minimum spend when redeeming (other than the face value of the voucher)
That would mean, for example, that you couldn't just go in and buy a £70 item for £20 straightaway. You'd have to buy a £20 item and then buy a £70 item for £20 meaning you were out of pocket £40
But if that's what they mean then I wonder if you could simply return the first item therefore getting your bonus voucher for nothing (except the cost of the mag).
I guess we won't know for sure until folk start redeeming them
From reading the terms this is what I thought also.
Just been to my T's and there were 6 Grazia magazines and 3 had the cards ripped out of them. Some people are despicable. The other 3 only had £5 ones in so left them.0 -

Oh zag, the people who have been around longer don't care. You'd be a worthy starter......you'd have to start it with a song
Sadly, I dont like getting involved in it anymore. it's not a big deal, as long as we are here what else matters0 -

I went to a D-Day service and function today.
I'd just like to say that they don't make men like that anymorethere's a politeness and a gentlemanliness that just doesn't exist anymore. I got loads of compliments and never once felt like someone was trying to get in my knickers
There alot to be said for that generation. I had an absolutely fantastic time :T:T0 -

I agree about the thread starting. I have only been around this thread for 8-9 months and I can't really remember it being mentioned much back then. Know it seems to waste a lot of the existing thread, people rambling on about who will start the next one.
It is getting earlier and earlier in the thread. Post 1 will shortly have a list of the next 10 thread starters and then a 25 page discussion about who will start them in 2015.:rotfl:

hes being silly. as long as fillers are no great loss get them.
id rather a slight loss on something I wanted than get an item for a few pence and waste.
I always try to buy fillers I will use. Packs of Choc bars etc come in handy for my Tuck Shop at work.
Don't you just hate it when you try to click on something and page is still loading and jumps a bit.
I just spammed my own post.0 -

it's a war that rumbles on in the background. Only us oldies know what it's about which only makes it more futile.
DM had an idea about whoever got post number ## on a thread got to start the next one? but that is open to sabotage :eek:
I say give it to my DS2 to random number generate it.......he has several  :rotfl::rotfl:0
