Just returned from Aldi - they are expensive aren't they?:eek:
Just about only thing I found was 300g Apricots at 89p but even they are worse value than the particular Plums (100g more) were when they were 50p for M.
Pack of "Fun"size Bananas 69p:eek:. 1kg Carrots 65p:eek:. Broccoli 45p:eek::eek:_pale_
They had Bernard Matthews Turkey Dinosaurs 300g at 65p - or rather they didn't have them at all as only a SEL there and no product - but they are, as stated on the SEL, £2.30/kg - in other words about £1.15 for 500g. 500g packs were £1.00 in M some time ago. Making the 300g pack at Aldi a poor deal.
Also Sweet Potatoes are at 92p(?)/kg, making them cheaper than T's £1.00/kg - but still too expensive for me - this loose stuff 'always' works out very expensive by weight.0 -
I've had to FB PM a neighbour as their son is singing very loud vile sweary angry songs & it is unpleasant to hear
Window has been shut & peace resumes
I hope she understands
Evening all! Sorry to hear you've been having neighbour problems Snap, but I'm also glad it's not just meDH and I were just eating our dinner and noticed one of our neighbours standing on our front garden, trimming her plants! We moved from our last place because we got no privacy and I really don't want a repeat of that here! Is it even legal for them to do it?

Thanks to Student Money Saver
Buy this week's Grazia (dated 9th June) and get a free Topshop lucky giftcard in every copy (stuck on page 39).
The magazines are not sealed so you can technically check what the symbol is worth before you buy. Have a look at the chart here:
The magazine costs £2 but the voucher can be worth between £5 - £250. Vouchers can only be claimed in-store, there is a minimum spend of £20 & they are valid until 17th June 2014.
Be quick as these magazines won't be around for long!
Is this next weeks Apg evouchers:eek::D:D0 -

And a big thanks to aau1 for bringing the Grazia thing over.
My niece has gone on a road trip tonight. My sister says it is her fav shop so anything £10 or over will help towards her summer holiday wardrobe.
I noticed there were some birthdays today so many wishes to those concerned.
I have spent the day comping in the sunshine. Animals are far happier when I am home. Roxy is loving the garden and only just come in for the day. Rodney the Parrot is currently trying to get my attention by blowing me kisses. Must say I am loving the Parrot but far too messy to consider one myself. Roxy is the perfect companion dog:)

No not me.I'm not confident enough.I'd mess it up.Wombles a bit scarce at the moment.Too much cleaning going on in the carpark.
Wombles are there, but unfortunately everyone doing Brand Match and Price Promise shops in Mr A:(:(. Hopeless - all the items on the aisle ends (gondolas) are the ones losing on the APG at the moment - £1 Belvitas, 75p Heinz spag/saus., 88p Ritz crackers - and all of them poor value compared to what I would be used to - Belvitas should be 45p or 55p on glitch, Heinz spag/saus. cheaper in threes in Waitrose (as not compared to from APG) and Ritz crackers were vs 69p elsewhere some time ago. People still buying these poor offers in A though - and also the Pepsi 2L:( - okay it works vs Morries, but no good with those price-lock grapes!
And one tub of Bertolli again:(:(:(. I've now had that on two separate ones. Now with the £1 chocs that are way expensive in T - it just loses - trouble is I know which items to buy and can tell, without even the 3 hours being up, that they'll be useless!! It comes to something when I have to rely on Waities being non-comparable on the particular Belvita to give anything! Bet it won't be though.
As for the Bertolli - buy one and the APG is 19p. Buy two (at 2x £1.90) and the APG is £2.09, minus the £1.90 extra you paid is still 19p - so the second one is free. They don't get that on these shops - apart from losing the APG entirely by not keeping their receipt:D, they make it just 38p (and still not 10% cheaper on this product) from A instead of £2.09 if they had been bought on the one shop. And then they give everything back by overpaying (compared to previous occasions) on the Belvita, Ritz and everything else. Pepsi 2L bottles are dear, compared to the previous 8 pack cans (somewhat more across those eight than 2L) for 90p.0 -

I did an order for 3 airwick yesterday and have ordered 4 more for delivery tomorrow. Both orders in with other shopping.
First time since xmas 2012 I have placed online glitchy order.
The thing to remember is an apg should be considered as money until spent as you have paid to get it. This time we are paying £6 for a £6 apg.
I am hopeful I can spend on another glitchy order BUT to do so I need to have part of my monthly allowance left.
These are something I really want for myself so once my apgs are in account (if glitch still on) I will use apg to buy more. Only then will I feel the benefit of the glitch.
My trouble is I do not spend or need much from A so have to be willing to blow apg on household goods (like loo roll) should I be left with an apg running out and no glitches to buy.

I've only just got back my refund on the Jazz apples, but now spent it towards some overpaid Pork Chops. Only when I redeem that against a future shop will the cheaper price for them be realised. Then again I lost the benefit of that and probably ended up making them more expensive than S/P ones by having to get a flump and a strawberry bar.0
