Haven't got time to read back. FC - I hope you get all the money back. The bank is at fault for allowing so many transactions the same to same company.

I must admit I was a bit peed off with Nationwide when they stopped my card when doing a shop, they phoned me just after I arrived home and wanted ALL my info - there is NO WAY they should ask this when they phone you! I phoned them back on a number that I'd searched for. They didn't see why I had a problem giving them my info. when they called me! REALLY!!!

I'd bought present for granddaughter from Target USA. I'd missed all the info on their system being hacked & someone had tried to make 2 purchases, 1 for a small amount and one for over £2000! on flights  The bank had stopped these as they flagged it. TBH I was miffed (I only had the 1 card on me shopping & not enough cash for whole shop) & then pleased they had done this. I did manage to pay for the staples with cash.

Don't be too hard on hubby, MANY have been caught out & not everyone is as savvy as you. I know I've had a go at hubby in the past & felt awful for doing it afterwards. He just leaves everything to me to sort - computer & finances, as I can be pretty rotten to him if he gets things wrong. Like - who in their right mind uses a credit card to get cash out of a hole in the wall?
Yep - he did when he also had a debit card in his wallet and money in account. He no longer will get cash out as I had a right go at him! He no longer tries to help with DIY around the house either as he reckons I'm a perfectionist and I pick holes when he tries to help. I'm not really BUT he has NO idea on DIY - like when the door sticks, you don't sand away the newly painted door surround you sand off the top of the door! OMG I've many, many more like that too.

Bubbs - you can use "Trend Micro Housecall" on top of any virus/security software you have. I've found that whatever security system I'm using Housecall always finds something they've missed if your computer starts going slow or you get those damned annoying pop-ups or those annoying adverts everywhere for things you've looked at purchasing. Avast, Kapersky, Defender, AVG etc. will miss something that Housecall finds and removes for you. I try and scan mine once a month with Housecall - I was told about it years ago by someone that dealt with computer problems for a few large companies.

Just catching up, thanks for this but think you got the wrong person:o i never mentioned it, but who ever did might realise this is for them;)

I have taken the curtains down in living room and the other ones need putting up :(

I have sunshine windows in here and have 2 sets.

Taking down not bad but I struggle putting up due to only having one hand the other hand is holding onto the wall most of the time and I am wobbling on top of 2 step stepladder :o :rotfl::rotfl:

Will wait til gasman been don't want to be partway hanging a curtain :D and he knocks on door. He here now :j
