Afternoon peeps.
For those of you who couldn't or didn't get any of the glitchy choccie bars. If like my local store they still have the shelf labels up, the offer ended on the 2nd. DTD with a smile.Kinder bueno are best as they give back £1.80 on a £2.10 spend. :T

On the subject of Halifax, I just noticed that there are cashback rewards - but you have to activate the feature within online banking.
Current offer (until end of month) - 10% cashback on Morrisons shop when you use your Halifax debit card.
Just done a test out. Spent £61 (£50 of that was 3V) Used £8 WYS £60 MOC. Will be great if I get another £6 cashback. Most of the food I bought will be free anyway (CheckOutSmart Burgers / Volvic / Jammy Dodgers / Ben & Jerry's).
Best way of taking advantage, imho, is to buy Morrisons own gift vouchers, then when you spend them you get change in real money. I think the cashback is only for one purchase, if the same as offers I've had, so buy £100 (or whatever the max) in £10 gift vouchers. If you then use a £10 voucher for something under £1 you get £9 in change.
By the way, these offers vary - I think they are tailored to your spending habits and you would be more likely to get Morrisons if you never shop there, I think. I've had 20% followed by 10% followed by 5% twice and only ever bought gift vouchers using my Halifax cards.0 -
Remind me never to go out just after 3pm - traffic was too much for my liking and every one of the blockades caused by traffic lights:(:(:(. I managed, somehow, to take 15 minutes to get back here even though the 'rush hour' traffic at this point - I think I keep going off through the side-streets, back to the main road, back down the side-streets again then back ('normal' people don't do that - they just queue and wait:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, thank goodness I'm not normal).
So a few further items to add from M - Pie Tom's Pork Pie and Mushy Peas (frozen) (310g) 72p RTC. And I've remembered about the [Lambrusco] Rosso 75cl at £1.99.
I've to correct an earlier error - I mentioned the Savers Onions, on Monday, were 69p. It now turns out that my own price collection had glitched there, against our favour (thankful that I don't do the price collection for T PP, otherwise I would have glitched and taken money off you:D) - I'd picked up the price on the regular Onions pack at 69p rather than the Savers Onions. So, apologies for that and all being put right now. Well, when I'm in two different stores, one of which has the Savers and the other does not, and seeing hundreds of items and prices, I forget which store I'm in sometimes!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hopefully not - then onto the first price collection in T:D. And look - something has come out of it - but bear in mind none of this cross-checked against msm at all at this point and therefore it means nowt. T Eday Round Lettuce is found to be 40p. So, the A Round (non-SP) Lettuce is to be removed now, and the Iceberg Lettuce to be removed:( (I do really like Iceberg - perhaps it's different but paying more?:rotfl:). Dolmio Original Lasagne Kit T £2 (again, meaning of nothing and, for all I know, otherwhere than T - i.e. S or W - could be cheaper to compare against).
Nescafe Original Coffee Jar 300g is on £1.67/kg. So, looking a good Avs T subject to checking msm/msl.
Pork Chops 620g (fixed weight?) £4.40/kg - to be checked to see if any A product within range.
The aim of the trip was to find items where T is cheaper for APG and Sains BM:D. However, at one point, I couldn't help looking at items more expensive than I know are cheaper elsewhere. T's Salad Cress btw is now on Tvs S in 3s (default to there as non-comp. on APG vs S).
IMO, available only to outside of Northern Ireland, T's Eday Double Length Toilet Roll 6 pack is definitely an item to be buying on Tvs M comp. T 400 sheets x 6. Vs M at £1.00.
M's Savers is 200 x 6. This was seen comparing on T PP a couple of weeks ago. Hope it continues to compare on T PP. :shhh: I'd definitely be buying loads and loads of them (maximum 10 packs and not exceeding cond spend by much) except my refusal to pay anything at all to Mr T which saw me buying, with a womble, a couple of packs of A's half the sheets 6 pack at full price:wall::wall::wall:. Don't forget your fillers!!:D The other possibility is the Nouvelle 9 in Co-op.
Oh - BE Southern Fried Chicken 4 pack (£1.62) and Sunpride Mango Juice 1L (50p) are good Svs T items subject to them being on t.com.
Again, I may remember more later - and let's hope I don't get M and T mixed up:rotfl::rotfl:. It was a one-off collection today in T, although - I think I said that about the very first M list didn't I?:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T:A0 -

Whilst I do not want to promote what's available in T, I saw some little Heinz baby foods on 32p RTC there (may be store specific).
Just remembered - Panasonic Pro Power Batteries 8 pack (AA or AAA) £4.99 bogo'f' in Morries.
There's something else...
Ah, a comment about T's pricing and their possible(?) distraction of people towards items on offer that don't represent as good value. I noticed they had some Maynard's Wine Gums and Bassett's Allsorts cartons on £2.00. (I've known about these for some weeks as part of Avs T, and not buying either of them anywhere as still work out at 37p or thereabouts per 100g. Considering that packs of Dominion Wine Gums - 200g - are 49p in Aldi (or thereabouts), a price of double 37p (or even double '37p less 10%') is seen as a 'rip off' nowadays! I noticed that the Wine Gums carton had a yellow (offer?) label in T. That I'm used to looking at white-labelled products, picking between the offers, as those are items that may be cheaper elsewhere, whilst the yellows are the ones to buy in A or S...
Anyhow, the Wine Gums carton - yellow label. But I noticed, of the Allsorts, T had bought in a special purchase of a tin of those - at higher price per g. than the carton. (There was no tin of Wine Gums.) Carton of Allsorts - lower price per g - white label. And guess what? The tin - yellow price label. :rotfl::rotfl: Just a little bit of interest to me!
Of course the prices per unit of all items are indicated on the shelving - doubtless as required by EU regulation or something - so there's no suggestion of any non-compliance with anything but just interesting how the more expensive, where it existed, tin of the Allsorts had the colour of label that I've associated with being an offer (again, nothing expressly on shelves ever states it is).0 -
