Aww bless. We won't chop ours down at this time of year due to a hedge trim mishap last year when the poor bird had to abandon her eggs as the nest fell on the floor and even though we put it back she wouldn't take to them. I was gutted.
We have one bush we don't trim as it is known as the bird bush and a couple years ago my oh chopped it and a pigeons nest fell out and he broke one of the eggs and he felt awful and thought he had checked it before he cut it..anyway for a few days after every time he left the house the pigeon use to swoop down as if it was trying to dive bomb him..it's amazing to think how clever birds actually are.One cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -
