We're going to visit family near London in July and kids want to go to a theme park. They've been to Alton towers before and loved it. Would Thorpe park or Chessington be similar to Alton Towers?

    Legoland?

Dare I ask where that rabbit's been? ;)
    Evening all.

Evening, cake-angel:). Did you and Em have a good day?

The kissy rabbits are very well behaved compared to what the cookery cats get up to with the human fruit...

Hi there, I'm rushing, trying to get shopping done, never a good thing - then more to report later.

Whilst I try desperately to catch up, are Jazz apples working today? Is the Paxo stuffing comparing to T at 25p today? Would much appreciate a quick reply - TIA!

Thank you. Normally when I get near the end they add more on but they haven't managed it this time, yet!

I play for the stars on my tab but will be playing Odus on lappie, drives me up the wall but then I have an excuse for cursing and letting some tension out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I wonder if some of the English folk could help with a question?

We're going to visit family near London in July and kids want to go to a theme park. They've been to Alton towers before and loved it. Would Thorpe park or Chessington be similar to Alton Towers? Looks like both would cost around £100 for 4. DH and I aren't keen on going on the rides but I presume we'd still have to pay full entry price.

I've looked at the Merlin pass but don't think we'd have the time to get our money's worth.

Also hoping it'll be quieter at the start of July before the English schools are off???

Hello, Chessington is fairly quiet at that time. Also if you're going via train it's in zone 6 and takes about 35 minutes from Waterloo station. There's usually 2 for 1 codes knocking about for both: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/chessington-vouchers.

    Hope that helps!
