LOL. She wouldn't touch those with a barge pole.

I'm not from Manchester but have just had a look on Hotel Chocolat and they seem to have a few there.

Oooh now that's a thought. I will have to have a look there I think.

Are they any people from Manchest-oh on here? Do you guys know of any posh chocolate shops in the city centre? I don't mean Thorntons, lol. Mom has a big birthday coming up and I want to get her something very expensive. I know she loves her dark chocolates so I could get something when I am there this week. I know they have a Godiva in the Trafford Centre but I will probably get lost on my way there. Please and thanks.

hotel choc in the arndale centre and harvey nics have a small but lovely food dept on the top floor.:)

:rotfl: I got quite a few penny bargains in there when I worked in the area, so it's decent compared to London ones! Is it sad to miss the Ts near Ponty/Nantgarw? :)

I would never have thought there would be anything much in there, but maybe it's all relative, no stock for a weekly shop but lots of glitchy and 1p items? :p
I'm with you on the missing good T stores, I'm hoping to get a new job in my new home town, but I'm genuinely concerned that I won't get any bargains anymore as the home town T is poo compared to the massive T near work. I just keep saying to myself 'it's not worth traveling nearly an hour each way to work, just because it has a better T!'. I haven't found anything yet though, so I'm going to have to stock up on 1p goodies if/when it happens :o
