Oh, surprise, it was worth it (sort of) - could have been, and should have been, better if they hadn't stupidly bought those Heinz tins in this manner:

9 items (6 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    1 x Kellogg's Variety Pack (8x24g)£0.98£1.04
2 x Heinz Spaghetti with Sausages in Tomato Sauce (400...£1.50£1.90
    2 x Heinz Spaghetti Bolognese (400g)£1.50£1.90

1 x Fairy Original Washing Up Liquid (433ml)£1.20£1.25
    Comparison total (compared products only)£19.15£20.06

Not liking seeing those Variety Packs being on 98p now:( - set to mess up the other comps.
I suspect T will increase the price and then it'll be game over:(:(.

    Vs Morries:

    Thanks for the comments!:T

If I can do it, anyone can. The only disaster I had (in practice) was a lemon drizzle cake for a birthday that was so so soggy that it was never going to tried again.:rotfl:

Jelly- can you recommend any other sites to win eBay auctions at the last minute aside from Bidnip? I've used up all my free snipes now. Good website that!

Zippy didn't you recommend a site before? Many thanks.

    Hang on...
They bought 2 packs of Nappies on 2 for £10, but only one has appeared:
two on receipt are ...4192 and ...4190.

I only ever get APGs when they accidentally get glitch items.
Not that it helps anyone much as only causes 97p increase in price for A on APG and would be having to spend a nearly unthinkable £10:eek: on them in the first place.

I can see that, without the Heinz tins, this would have been no APG at all - as not enough items. But they still could have bought something else in their place.(:rotfl:)

The thread is quiet just now so I thought I'd share this with you.

I offered to bake my nieces wedding cake having never even baked a birthday cake before. However for the last 18 months, I've made every family birthday and Christmas cake as practice. And here's the wedding cake......

With or without Tango Orange it was not a success, when shopping in A (might be helpful for Tvs A I don't know?).

I moan about 'normal shoppers' on wombles buying items at full price when they are full price elsewhere - e.g., here, the Curly Kale at 95p vs 97p for T (not on 50p half price at the moment, after having had two recent periods of that) - but, it's a tiny bit better a Curly Kale vs T full price than, for instance, a cheaper broccoli 49p vs 49p.

Sadly the wine combo (they didn't get any mbuy on their receipt) didn't work out as half of it more expensive at T. :eek:_pale_The price at T on those Golden "Delicious" apples:rotfl:. Fwiw, vs M at price match.

_pale__pale_S and W are even more expensive than T! £1.77 price for each of them:eek:.

    Good afternoon :)

Well the sun has been shining here but it seems to have gone in now. We had a lovely walk on the beach this morning. DS2 and our new arrival spent most of it deep in the sort of conversation that could make you insane if you listened too long  disagreeing about everything with in-depth explanations attached :D

Ive spent the rest of the morning looking for and fretting over my cat. She doesn't appear ill but she's behaving very strangely. Not coming indoors, not turning up at feeding time, looking at me like she doesn't know who I am :( Im sure owners of elderly cats know what I mean? Brian went a bit funny like that before he passed :( I'm hoping she's just having an off time.

    Good afternoon

I hope the cat is ok.
I've been worrying a bit about mine also.He has decided to sleep in the bathroom sink for the last few days.He is drinking and eating well.So I don't know.I'm forever cleaning it now and keep finding hairs in the plug hole.He is 15 so maybe he is getting a bit senile.

    Good afternoon all
I have again only been lurking mostly in the early hours and hate posting from Ipad

FC you are so very generous helping others

    Nanny belated birthday wishes

    QOC enjoy the allotment

Scamps Lovely wee dog I am sure she will a god send to you.

    Emmap Nice tattoo

I have been really busy with work and RL and quite saddened by the attitude of the company that bought us over 18 months ago We had a manager who had 22 years’ service, been bought over twice She resigned as it was all too much pressure. They failed to contact other than a quick and curt call to say the end date was fine. The current owner has known her for all this time but no acknowledgment whatsoever.

She is so hurt, we are just statistics now
