As patty said it's lovely in Belfast today but I do spy some grey/black clouds on the horizon, I hope they pass by without any rain. Planning to take DS on a drive along the causeway costal route with his camera so hope it stays dry. I might manage a bit of shopping while we're out and have to collect a c&c before 7pm.
Oh my goodness how long it took me yesterday to pick £50 of stuff that I actually needed (I had a £10 off £50 and the £5 off £20 in household I wanted to use), I had to bypass all the toiletries and the only thing in laundry I'd need soon was fabric softener, I still don't need toilet roll (I think I've enough for another year and I've given loads away), I don't need cleaning stuff or proper meal food so ended up with loads of snacky stuff that was on offer and should last until mid July (I hope).
It's going to look funny because I'll be picking up fabric softener, toilet bleach, kitchen rolls (have lots but couldn't think of anything else to get), a few cereals and the rest snacks but at least it's more stuff to remove from my regular shopping list. At this rate I think I'll end up with just fruit, bread and milk to buy each week :T
I also had huge problems getting to £60. I have a conditional spend but its not valid until Monday so I thought I'd do the order yesterday anyway rather than loose the £5 household discount.
I could not think of a single thing we needed so I just got 3 packs of 18 packs of loo paper - we must be the only people who are running out plus a couple of bottles of surface wipe to get to £20.
I also found some big boxes of cat food sachets - 40 in a box reduced to £7 - usual price is between £10 and £13 so a good saving - we have 3 cats so we need industrial amounts of cat food.
So Ive got click and collect for late this afternoon - bit worried about what substitutes we might end up as its a very small store which always seems to have very poor stock levels.
Ive not told OH what we are collectingI've also got a direct order to collect from a tiny Tesco metro and that order looks like its going through as well today.
Also yesterday after a lot of dithering I ordered the printer ink, went through Topcashback and found a company which was doing 342 so I got 3 packs and free delivery, hopefully this will come on Monday.
For someone with no shopping Mojo I seem to be spending a lot of money :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Was it from your design/artwork? Why a typewriter, if you don't mind me asking.
Trying to work out what the lettering at the top says ... 'Beauty'?
Aww thanks Jelly. I wanted an old underwood style typewriter so I sent over some pictures but basically the design of it is down to the guy who did it- Antony Flemming. He's brilliant.
A typewriter because I used to have one as a child and when I'm writing I'm at my happiest.
The lettering at the top says beautiful. I got it at a time when I wasn't feeling beautiful at all so it's a little reminder to myself to not let insecurities take holdDebt free 6th December 2014

Good morning everyone.
Happy birthday Nanny. Have a wonderful day.
Been to Lild. Managed to get the turkey which is now unpacked and rebagged and frozen. Also got a few packets of rice and some mixed peppers that were 29p for 3. This was a labeling error but as they were clearly labelled as 29p and we asked SA if this was correct and they said it was, I got 6 packs for this price which I will chop & freeze tomorrow.0 -
And to make matters worse neither of my Topcashback purchases yesterday - Tesco click and collect and Eurooffice - have tracked so I've had to put in a support tickets
I've never managed to get a support ticket to a satisfactory stage so I am fed up now, looking at how much money I am not going to get “Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Thanks, no Lidl near me unfortunately. Your post did prompt me to look on MYS though, and Morrisons are doing a 300g bag for 99p so will pop there later
My children (teenagers) absolutely love the Nutribullet, it is so great seeing them enjoying such healthy food :A:A
