I know with a lot of fruit/veg there is a lot of goodness - vits/minerals in the skin or just under it eg. potato skin is full of goodness in the skin with little other than starch in the rest of the potato. However if you wouldn't eat the skin normally then don't use or try it once and see.
Thanks again! :A
Just one more question - I bought mine directly from High Street Shop, via the HUKD link, after you had said that you had ordered, but before you posted your link. Just wondering if the deal was the same. I received the green-coloured box with the NutriBullet and all the different mugs and lids/the 2 blade attachments and the paperback booklet etc. Then outside the box were the hardback book, plus sachets of Wheatgrass Powder, Maca Powder and Spirulina Powder. Is that what you got too? Just wondering, sorry to be nosey :beer:0 -
I'm not one to listen in to others conversations ...but this morning whilst sat in T cafe I couldn't help but hook into the one on the next table...
Couple were discussing vegetarian options and benefits of converting whilst tucking into their sandwiches....discussion continues and I listen in until one innocently looks up to the other and says
"so does bacon contain meat then....?"
didnt hear the reply as my tea spluttered all over the table and I had to dive for a tissue!
Were they Jamaican and saying 'beer can'?

It was a £20 deposit, backed by £50 cashback, so I figured even if I lost my £20, I was up.
I took the bonus option when I signed up, which gave me £15 and £20 in bonuses.
I played some dodgy roulette yesterday and got up to about £70 at one point and down to about £30. Finished on £60 ish.
Played live roulette and live blackjack today. Blackjack was just luck, and then with roulette I just followed the logic that after hitting black a few times, it would land on red. I did play with my wager level when I had a balance on a couple of hundred, wagering between £5 and £50 on a colour. BUT, until I had wagered through £1,500 (could have been more, didnt check at the start) I could only withdraw my original £20 stake, so I felt it wasnt real money I was gambling with. I got to a point with £300 or so in the bank when I figured if I just played red/black evenly I would maintain the balance and play though the bonus wager. I also thought I might have to wager another £1000 to get anything as they split the bonus into the 2 different amounts and the wager amount for the £20 was £1000. But, as soon as I had played through the amount that was next to the £15 bonus, it let me withdraw, so I didnt hang about and cashed out everything, losing the £20 free bonus amount they had given me. Has taken a couple of hours, but worth it.
Oh and the cashback tracked quickly too.
What I did find is that when I played the dodgy roulette, it felt computer controlled (it landed on the number 4 twice in a row and also the green zero twice in a row. I realise how the odds work, but that seem dodgy to me) so I preferred playing the live video feeds roulette and blackjack, because whilst I know the house always wins, at least there was not a computer controlling how much I could win.
SERIOUSLY - THIS IS A VERY EASY THING TO BE ADDICTED TO - BE VERY CAREFUL, DO NOT WAGER IF YOU CANT AFFORD TO LOSE IT. EVEN THE CASHBACK MAY NOT TRACK OR BE REFUSED!!
Just to back up the warning, I have just checked through my time on the roulette table. I won 12 spins on the trot, and only lost on 11 of the 46 spins I had. I also lost £80 on 3 spins, to end with a win of £50, still £80 down on the peak I had.
I would expect to win on approx 23 spins of 26, so the fact I won on 35 is well above average.
I got lucky and bailed with the money, I am SURE I couldn't do it again.0 -
Would I recommend Halifax Bank? Yes to keep grabbing their £5 monthly Reward, no for their competence - they are frankly useless! How many times should one complete an instruction for children's regular saver accounts to be paid tax free? Once on sign up? The following year when they have taken tax and you have traipsed into town (as you have to go in branch to manage the account) and then had to go through the rigmarole with HMRC to get the tax back? Same again the following year? Or now for the THIRD year running having to go through the same process AGAIN to get tax refunded from HMRC and to get Halifax to apply it to the accounts (AGAIN) and have to traipse into town AGAIN for them to do their job properly.
Rant over

The good thing about Halifax is their Reward Current Account (as you say).
And the ease at which you can open Current Accounts. Their application process is simple and Online Banking is pretty good too.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

There were 2 links that offered the same deal. I ended up buying off High Street Shop as thought I might get 8% back on Quidco BUT they do specify that it's NOT available on Nutribullet. The other one I posted the linky to still has machine at £79.99 but with NO supplements now. Hubby unpacked & that's exactly what we got too. Both sites are related to High Street shop (the other one was 'good housekeeping' but product the same. The High St shop now has bundle minus supplements for £99.99 whereas the original link I posted has same deal (minus supplements) at £79.99. http://www.buynutribullet.co.uk/electrical/food-processors-mixers-blenders/vip.html0
