    When is the wedding?

It depends on how many survive this weekend but I think its July - mind you it might be a bit of a let down after this weekend :j

Anyway if anyone is thinking of going to Edinburgh today or this weekend for shopping, an evening out or even just passing through, but don't.

Best to stay home, lock the doors and don't come out.

Eldest childs girlfriend has her Hen do this weekend - very big lavish weekend in Edinburgh, hotels, meals, transport, activities - they could work for NASA the amount of organisation that has gone on over the last 4 months :rotfl:

You will recognize them as most of them have York/Leeds/Newcastle/North East accents and 27 of them have now amassed and swarmed onto Edinburgh Waverley so be warned, do not approach :j.

Eldest child has come the furthest from Kings Cross and has probably been sipping since 7.30 this morning so she will be the most giggly by now :rotfl:

hope they have wonderful time but have to say its like that most weekends in Edinburgh :rotfl:

This is eldest child (daughter) and yes she does have a long term BF (with a vast array of assorted problems between them along the way).

But she is maid of honour, not the bride - thank goodness :D

    I dread it
