Evening all checkoutsmart sorted it all out today :T

However seems my silly Mum signed up for free trial of raspberry ketones through Facebook link and has now been charged £189 :eek:

She been to bank, manager called the company they will refund 110 but no more.
Not covered by bank as she ticked the terms and conditions box and she has taken the pills. Which she shouldn't have as she is diabetic

I can't believe how silly she has been, when she mentioned it a few weeks ago and I told her it was a scam to cancel her card and speak to bank. also that only way she would lose weight was to get off her butt and stop eating carp.

That there was no quick fix.

So now she has lost pounds just the wrong kind.

I do feel for her but her or her husband should know better

    :(

I've been having a go at freebies sites that have these on them, and have put comments where they let you put comments saying I would gladly try them if it was a free trial, however this is not a free trial as they keep your details and charge you for more.

Tomorrow we are popping to outlet centre so I can buy the watch dd has her eye on for her 30th birthday. Planning ahead as would like to get inscription.

Lou says a big thank you to the kind people who have sponsored her to do the 10k Race for life. She has passed the £100 target she had set herself.

I have no idea whether they are even what they say on tub, its an old scam, new product. I remember seeing stuff about it when I was young girl on that's life with ester rantzen with another type of diet pill .

She said she was going to cancel card but she never got around to it - doh !

I have read of folk having to close bank accounts to get them to stop taking money

:( my mum got caught out by this as well, she knew she had to cancel but forgot. Luckily she hadn't tried them so was able to return them and get a refund (not the p&p) They didn't exactly volunteer that info though and it took several calls to get them to do it

I know James 1st/6th, you guys asked for help, besides his linage died out. Think the current ones are of German descent.

I think the more interesting vote would be do English want to keep Scots :rotfl:

I'm happy to stay united thanks x

What really annoys me is that I personally think that the whole United Kingdom should have a vote on it. Of course, Salmond is too afraid to let us all have a vote because it would almost certainly mean that Scotland would be cut adrift :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
