    Thanks.

Found this on their site, but obviously not strictly true then!

    What is 3V?

3V is the easy way to get a prepaid Visa number for online shopping. All you need to do is purchase a 3V Activation Code to the value you want and then enter it on this site to view your unique 3V Prepaid Visa Number. You can then use this Visa number to make purchases anywhere online that accepts Visa. It's that simple.

Tempted to get some to boost my points, but doesn't sound straightforward spending them. Is there also some issue about having to spend the full amount at once, too?

Yes appears to be slightly false advertising as they are not accepted everywhere that you can use Visa. Most places want full payment so you cannot split transactions to use multiple cards. No need to use full £25 in one transaction though as you can always clear the balance with Amazon giftcard (any amount allowed).

If you also shop in A, buying A Giftcards from Highstreetvouchers is a no brainier as it costs you no more than you would normally spend and you can generate HH/CC bonus vouchers and potentially use these on a future 3V purchase - £50 cost me £39 last week with a mailed out £5 off £50 and £6 off £40 ... And another £6 off £40 was generated for this week too :).

I ideally just have to cash out the many £100s of 3v Giftcards I already have in stock though ... have plenty of points for summer holiday/activities  so not complaining.

when I went to use with p&o they were going to charge a small amount per card. so I said no. but after I worked things out (what I got for cards v what I was charged) it would have been worth it. but I have now paid for my cruise. however I will be trying to put on board spend onto my account using them. sorry I cant remember how much the charge was, but it was small, so in other words I still benefitted by using them.
trust me. if I manage to put money into account with them, I will be paying for the next cruise with quite a lot of 3v cards.
Keep us informed of this one please
