We have our own RugDoctor (blue version) and this failed to remove wee stains from our wool carpet (green). However, they completely disappeared from an acrylic carpet (cream ). This was using their brand of detergent (bought in cheaper large containers from a wholesale supplier) and the stains were not new.

just wanted to post this link before you gpt 6 suggestions to cover it in bicarb....dont !

    http://www.ext.colostate.edu/mg/Gardennotes/553.html

although this was lazy of me and I could have found a better link ...dont stick an alkali on it...

or an alkalie (bicarb) - mixed with vinegar (acid) which will just neutralise each other with expensive but useless fizzing
bio washing powder - made into a paste with warm water (above 30 degrees) - applied and left for a while and rinsed out is as good as anything..

or just repeated use of water and then blotting it out
    -
and it fades quite quickly in sunshine too - so don’t cover it up..

I was going to suggest bio washing powder - but, I have also had good results with applying neat stardrops then gently sponging with clean water until the foam disappears.

Trade secret! Spay a little WD40 on the stain will thin any stain and wash the WD40 out with warm soapy water to break it down. Keep repeating if necessary until it looks good as new!

Don't take this the wrong way - but the Vanish may have made the stain stand out by making the area you cleaned stand out from the uncleaned areas around it. You may need to clean the whole carpet.

Try the above link. You will need a good water based spot remover. If you need a professional cleaner, you can find one on their site.
