TERMS & CONDITIONS – FACEBOOK APP


1. The promoter of the ‘Accessorize 30th Birthday’ competition (the “competition”) is Monsoon Accessorize Limited, 1 Nicholas Road, London, W11 4AN (“Accessorize”).
2. Accessorize promise not to share the information you provide with any third parties.
3. The competition is open to UK residents, aged 16 or over excluding employees of Monsoon Accessorize Limited, their families or its agencies.
4. Entrants will require a Facebook account and access to the internet.
5. Entrants must have a valid email address and UK postal address.
6. The competition is open from 22.05.2014 until 23:59 on 20.06.2014.
7. To enter the competition users must peel (“unwrap”) layers of the ‘Accessorize 30th birthday present’.
8. Each user will receive 10 layers to unwrap per day (this will refresh at midnight GMT).
9. If a ‘prize’ is found, then the user will receive one (1) of the items details in points 14.i, 14.ii or 14.iii.
10. Users can use the “invite a friend” functionality through Facebook to increase their chances of winning a prize (see points 11 and 12). The user can invite an unlimited number of friends; however each user can only accept one invite.
11. The “invite a friend” winning mechanism applies to Accessorize top and second tier prizes only (see points 14. i and 14.ii).
12. If a user (primary user) invites a friend (secondary user) and that secondary user wins a top or second tier Accessorize prize, then that primary user will also win a duplicate prize of the item won by the secondary user. Individual users can win any amount of Accessorize prizes.
13. If a primary user invites a secondary user and that secondary user wins a third tier prize (14. iii), then the primary user will not win this prize. Third tier prizes cannot be passed on to the primary user.
14. The Prizes:

ii) Second tier prizes: 300 x ‘Pretty Charm Anklet’
iii) Third tier prizes: 10% online discount codes for use at Accessorize.com. Discount code terms and conditions apply (see point 15).
15. i) This discount code entitles the winner to 10% off all full priced Accessorize purchases at Accessorize.com. ii) Valid online only, not valid in Accessorize stores iii) Code valid for 7 days from the date the prize is won. Validity shall not be extended under any circumstances. iv) To redeem your discount online, enter the code at the online checkout. v) Valid on UK orders only. vi) Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount, offer or promotion. vii) Not valid on Monsoon or Accessorize gift voucher, gift card or top-up purchases. viii) No cash alternative available. ix) The return value of the items purchased using this discount shall be the applicable return value under the Monsoon Accessorize return policy less the percentage discount obtained. x) Discount available to prize winners from this competition only. xi) Accessorize reserves the right to cancel or amend discount codes and/or the offer terms at any time. xii) Accessorize reserves the right to refuse this discount to any individuals to who (a) have not won the discount prize via the competition and (b) any other circumstances deemed by Accessorize as misuse of the code. xiii) Costs relating to delivery services will be charged at the full rate as normal.
16. Accessorize reserves the right to substitute a prize or any part of it of equal or greater value, if necessary. For example, in the event of a prize becoming out of stock, the prize will be replaced with an Accessorize gift card of equal or greater retail value. The winner will be notified via email in this instance.
17. In the event that the winner’s preferred size in unavailable, the prize will be replaced with an Accessorize gift card of equal or greater retail value
18. With the exceptions of points 16 and 17, prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable. There is no cash alternative.
19. Winners are required to enter their contact details to claim their prize so that their prize can be fulfilled. Top tier and second tier prizes will be sent to the postal address provided within the competition app.
20. Prizes will be delivered on or before 30th June 2014.
21. If the prize is lost under circumstances outside the promoter’s control, in the post or otherwise, it will not be replaced.
22. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering the competition, you understand and agree that you are providing your information to Accessorize and not to Facebook. By entering this competition, you release Facebook from any action or claim arising out of the competition. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this competition must be directed to Accessorize, not Facebook.
23. We do not accept responsibility for (i) lost entries or network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry, (ii) any postponement or cancellation of the competition, (iii) any loss or, changes to, postponement of or use of the prize, and (iv) any act or default of any third party supplier, which is beyond our reasonable control.
24. We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering this competition or by your acceptance of the prize, or any damage to your or other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading any material relating to this promotion.
25. The winner’s name will be available for two weeks from 20.05.14 to anyone sending a self-addressed envelope to: Website, 1 Nicholas Road, London W11 4AN.
26. English law applies and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with the competition and/or these terms and conditions.
27. Accessorize reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any stage without prior notice in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.
28. Entry into the competition will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and Accessorize’s decision is final and binding in all matters relating to this competition.
