Hi All,
I'm a PhD student in Computer Science and do a lot of part-time software engineering work on the side. I'm looking to 'up my income' and have been thinking about putting together a video tutorial site for people to learn how to code / learn how to code niche software solutions which tutorials aren't really available online, like 3D rendering and data visualisation. I'd like to charge for content. Everyone I spoke to in the software industry always says 'i'd love to know how to do something like that' whenever I show them my software.
I guess the closest example to this is bestdamntutoring dot com.
Does anyone have any experience in selling tutorials? Or generally making money from videos? Do you think this could be a viable business to earn some extra income?
Thanks,
James
