handed in my forms

well ive done it my forms have been handed in this morning and i have to go back to court on thursday at 9.30. I am really nervous and dreading it. hey said today to allow 3hours on thursday for everything. Any advice would be great

Most of the 3 hours will be waiting around! Eventually you will get to sit with a judge, who will ask you a few questions before signing the petition... It is not pleasant, of course, but only because it is a tense situation, and very official.... to be fair it is absolutely nothing to worry about... just be prepared for lots of waiting around.

The next step will be the official receiver appointment, this is where they go through your finances with a fine tooth comb, again its not the nicest of appointments, they can either take place on the phone, or at the recieivers offices. But at the end of the day the receiver is only a human doing his/her job and as long as you are straight with them, and provide them with as much information as is possible, then everything will be ok. We actually found the receiver very non-judgemental and by the time you leave the appointment you feel like a different person than the one you have been for the past gawd knows how many months.

I;m handing my forms in tomorrow, though i was told to expect an appointment sometime in mid August-must be a busy court here. So your lucky to be getting in so quick
