Time for Halifax to approve a lease

We accepted an offer on our house in Nov last year. Our buyers sale fell through just before exchange in feb. They found a new buyer and we started the process again. It's been a bit of a nightmare again with the FTB solicitor bring very slow and holding things up. We are now waiting on Halifax approving our buyers new lease - they've had it 10 working days now and still no news.
Any idea how long it usually takes? Sick of the whole thing now.
