Help...Clydesdale Bank Mortgage Application

Hi,
I am just after some advice regarding a clydesdale bank mortgage application.
I sent my initial application off (through a broker) over 2 weeks ago. Apparently they have already signed off all my documentation and I have had a valuation done that is equal to the price I have offered.
They now said that it can take another 6 working days for a decision.
Myself or my partner don't seem to have been credit checked yet? Which I thought was strange? Is this something that they would have done already or will they do this at the end? I didn't think we would have any problems as both our credit scores are high and have no negative factors. When I looked into it more though last night I noticed a late payment some 31 months ago to my credit card. I looked back through my accounts and basically I forgot to pay as I was on holiday and didn't have a direct debit set up
. Are they likely to reject us on this basis? I had never missed a payment before on any of my credit accounts or after. Should I bring this to the attention of the broker/lender now? I didn't initally as I didn't look far back enough and didn't see it. Or should I just leave it and wait to see if they mention it?
A bit more info on us we are after a 90% LTV deal for a loan of £184,500. We have joint income of £77,000. We have outstanding credit card debt (on 0% deals) of £7,000 between us.
Thanks in advance,

These are tricky questions.
Without knowing your full case it is pretty pointless to have a view.
Your broker is best placed to put your mind to rest.
Two weeks is barely enough time for Clydesdale to open the envelope.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks. I have spoken to my mortgage advisor she said that Clydesdalewill not check credit files until after they have the valuation report back and they are ready to offer.
Thankfully she doesn't think the one late credit card payment dating back to 2011 will have any impact on their decision.
So I have my fingers well and truly crossed for the next 6 days!!0 -
