Barclays recalled my Student Overdraft :(

I really am panicking now, I have no idea what to send in my first letter to them, should I state that I would like legal details about the transfer of my debt from Barclays to Debt Managers Ltd? To delay them? Should I offer a full final settlement of £1000 (even though I owe £2600). Or should I just state that I am in no position to pay any lump sum and that I will have to pay monthly to them?

Or do I say that I am currently awaiting my statements from Barclays referring to the same account, and awaiting a bank charge reclaim?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated? Especially template letters! :)
