bailiffs been to house advice please

My daughter had a visit from bailiffs yesterday as she had not paid some fines. Her fines have been coming off her benemorning automaticallyically. When she rang benefits they say it stopped paying them when she swapped benefits from Jobseekers to empliyment support. They didnt transfer the fines over. Bailiffs have said they r calling after 8am this morning. They have left a final norice letter and company is marstons.

    Magistrates Court fine?

They have a right to force entry in that case, but should not use that right unreasonably.

I wouldn't let them in, and wouldn't engage them in conversation.

There is no reason why a deduction from JSA cannot move seamlessly to a deduction from ESA. Contact the court that issued the fine - they need to withdraw the warrant from the bailiff and reinstate the deduction.

There is clearly some disability there (JSA to ESA) so play the vulnerability card.
