Lottery

Hi

Do you think it is possible to start my own lottery/raffle and hire a sales man to go out and sell as many tickets a possible?

Then actually create an e-Ticket and see how many i can sell or even just create tickets and get shops to sell them.

Do you think this would work? or something close to this would work

    In a word, No :

    http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/gambling_sectors/lotteries.aspx

"Lotteries (also known as raffles) cannot be run for private or commercial gain."

If a portion of the proceeds are going to charity, or raising funds for local communities, etc., then you'd be OK. The rules are fairly complex, but have a look through the Gambling Commission site, there's plenty of information there.

Why don't you set up a bingo website? You can ask a provider to provide all the software and banking for you and you just manage the marketing. Lots of cash can be made depending on your ability to market the product.
