I was just wondering if anyone knew why sometimes after you've entered a twitter comp the prize promoter sometimes favorites your tweet?
It always gets me really excited to see i have a notification & then i'm left with high hopes till the end of the comp but to no avail?

I think your excitement is somewhat justified. Every single twitter win I have had, has been when one of my tweets has been favourited. To me, it signals that I have been entered into the draw, which, on twitter, seems to be the hardest part. At least then it is down to luck.0 -
Ah i thought that might be the case. I favorite any comp entries to keep track of them and enable me to go back an check for winners.
