Phone calls from Westcott Hull

Hi,
Today I came to discover two missed calls from a Hull number. After looking online, it appears that it's Westcott DCA. I've seen some bad stuff about them elsewhere, should we be worried?

They offer this statement:

Our Halifax debt was sold to Wescott. We got numerous calls/answerphone messages from them initially but once they had been contacted by Payplan with our repayment offer (same as we had already been paying to Halifax) all was fine and the phone calls stopped.0

They also act on behalf of clients such as Santander. I say this as I have plenty of letters from them regarding accounts still with Santander.
