Where is the best place to get a Mulching Lawnmower in NI, is it worth getting one from Mainland UK and shipping or will that be too expensive/dangerous?
Any recomendations on makes/models appreciated
Ideally want to spend £1000 or under.

Jim Bailie, Court Engineering outside N'ards
Very knowledgeable (he is a mechanic) with personal service
He was cheaper than Cyril Johnston in my purchase and took a trade-in

PS. he has some used machines as well

Yea ideally looking for a used machine, we have quite large gardens so thought a mulching mower would be better than the ones that gather the grass.0

Recently bought an MTD from Moore Mowers near carryduff. They helped me for years with an old MTD that I had. Plenty of free telephone advice thast got me going on several occasions. They have been around for 30 odd years, father and son.
I don't live near them, but they delivered no problem and phoned me a week after I bought the new one, to make sure I was happy.
BTW the MTD I bought wasn't a mulcher, so I have no personal experience on models or costs.

After making a few enquiries round the sellers of mowers I have been advised that a mulching mower is limited use only. The ordinary mower which collects the grass is better as it can be used any time whereas the mulchers are better to be used when the ground/grass is really dry.0
