I won but where are the prizes?

I only started comping last month but have had some success already. I won a Fulton birdcage umbrella from Jaques of London, a Leapfrog rainbow cake and a Kallo ricecake tin. However they have not arrived. I don't want to be unreasonable but wondered what other people do in these circumstances if indeed other people have had this problem.

Usually wait 28 days before chasing.

I won something at the end of March that I'm still waiting for. And a TV, smartphone, tablet, and 3D Home Cinema System that took at least two months to arrive and they all came at seperate times. Just depends on who runs the comp, etc.0 -
Hello, congrats on your wins, it can take up to 28 working days for prizes to arrive. Perhaps you need to wait a tad longer before worrying. :T0

I won a smartphone worth £600 from EE over Twitter a while back, and after about 3 months of 'excuses' about not having any stock I got bored of waiting and reported them to the ASA.
Miraculously they found some stock and I got my prize within a week.0 -

Well done handbar - good advice from others.
There is always a slightly "down" period between being told that you have won and actually getting the prize. The way I like to look at it is that things "in transit" (three small ones plus one larger one currently) keep my spirits up while comping.Still cracking on....

My umbrella and rainbow tea set both arrived today. I now know what to expect if I win anything again. Thanks to all who advised me again.
On opening my prizes I see they both came direct from the manufacturer which explains the delay between winning and the actual receipt of the items.0
