Hi all,
Wonder if anyone can assist as iv been turning into a nervous wreck over this.
I have been offered & accepted a new job in customer services for a large retailer, the agency have sent me joining instructions for my induction, requirement to bring ID, references etc and it also states I will need to complete a form to allow a credit check to be run???
I was declared bankrupt in 2009, and am now worried this will raise a red flag on the credit check ?
Am I right to worry?
Can my new employer back out of the job offer?
Thanks in advance

I cant imagine why an employer would need to credit check an employee but why don't you ask them? - everyone has a right to know why a credit check might be done and those with immaculate scores are the ones most likely to ask that question given how important it is to have a good score.
Might it be to check if there are any fraud notices on new employees?0
