Tesco Bank Problems

I have a loan with Tesco Bank. Fell into a bit of a problem with payments.

I set up a payment schedule for the time being (about a year now). Now I have received a threat of default notice - but now in a position to recommence payments, which is good.

Tesco were telephoned and I was told that an advisor would call me back. That was 2 months ago, and this call still has not happened, despite a phone call reminder from me.

I repeatidly faxed them, but their fax machine is always off. I sent a letter recorded delivery with my proposals.

So I got another default notice. I tried to fax them again, again no answer from their fax machine (25 attempts to date!).

I've also sent 3 letters (identical) 2 by recorded delivery, and they're all "is being progressed through our network for delivery".

SO how the heck do you contact Tesco bank and get a response?

For the record, I work away from home most of the time, and the only number is an 0845 number, which is 35p a minute from my mobile - And I am not calling that anymore after the last bill! Beside which I often am with cleints during the day or driving, and I am certainly not discussing private affairs on the phone in public, or driving. I have offered my email address, and to date no acknowledgement or anything from them!

Phone the number. Its not worth trashing your credit rating even more to save 35p a minute.

I'm sure someone will call you back if you ask.

That's the problem, I had a timed phone appointment, and they've failed to keep it, nor return the 2nd call! How many more times do I have to waste more money on a wild goose chase? And I don't really have time to spend on hold for 20-30 minutes, only again to be told an advisor needs to call me back!

cant say I have had an issue getting through
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

If you need telephone them use their geographical number. Will save you phoning that 0845 one costing you a bomb.
