Hey all well the day is nearly here iv finally plucked up the courage to do it....iv had a headache for 2 days now and hoping tomorrow when i walk out of court it will have disspared
one question i have is i havent opened a new account yet, i have swapped my wages to my partners account and will slowly change direct debits too. only reason is im getting married in 2 weeks so thought it would be easier to open in my married name rather than having to swap everything after is this ok do you think?

Good luck for tomorrow! the relief is tangible so hopefully the headache will lift!
No problem at all for the bank account, I had the roughly the same idea, my partner opened a separate current account which I use and have the card to along with internet banking, eventually will get my own again (didn't go down the route of the co-op or Barclays when first BR as wanted internet banking etc) but at the moment still haven't done it despite being discharged, TBH it is quite nice "being under the radar" no junk mail, no phone calls trying to sell me things etc, and only my Butcher notices that the name on the card may not be me, he only jokes about it.every time I manage to get one more breath into this body, I will sing a song of thanks to you my brothers, my sisters, my friends, may your sleep be peaceful, and angels sing sweetly in your ears.0 -

Best of luck

As long as you have somewhere to pay your wages in you'll be fine. Make sure you open an Barclays account post-bankruptcy so that you have an account going forward.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow xAD March 2014
