Best fake tan?

Hi all,
I use fake tan as I'm not a fan of sitting in the sun for too long but am an unattractive shade of blue-ish white without some sort of chemical assistance.
I'm a St Tropez woman, but would swap to a cheaper version if I could find one that worked and wasn't a nightmare to apply. Just tried the Fake Bake spray on instant tan today and hated it, made a total mess of the bathroom and the colour is pretty awful too. I do sometimes use those Johnson & Johnson body lotions with a hint of a tan but really want something a bit stronger for occasional use to give me a 'healthy glow'.
Anybody got any recommendations?

You could try a professional spray tan solution applied with a mitt, the benefits are they come in a range of strengths, scents, minimal mess and prices are excellent, I pay around £25 for 1 litre of solution which lasts about 6 months using it once or twice a week. In between 'spray' tans you could moisturise (it can be quite drying) with a gradual tanner, I like Garnier or Dove, hth
On the high street I hear good things about St Moritz (I've never tried this) and Boots own Soltan brand, I preferred this to St Tropez and Fake Bake before I discovered the pro products.0 -
I have tried so many fake tans and its hard to find one that I like. The best one iv came across yet is Boots own called 'Soltan' . Its cheap enough (in around £7) and comes out in a creamy type lotion. Never had any issues with streaking and it has a nice shimmer to it. Fake Bake and He-Chi are quite smelly lol and streaky!0

I use Lauren Goodger's Lauren's Way - sounds terrible as she never looks great, but the tan for my skin is great. It is green based, so it develops into a nice olive brown colour. Smells nice when putting it on, once it's developed overnight it doesn't smell amazing but after showering the pong goes away. Doesn't go patchy on me too like St Tropez or Fake Bake did.0

Have you tried St Moritz? (or Moriz.....:/)I always used to use St Tropez mousse but was fed up with the high price.
I found St Moritz in Savers for £2.99 and I actually think the colour is better than St Tropez! I'm very fair and use the medium colour and find that it doesn't make me orange in the slightest as it has s slightly green hue. They also sell it in places like Factory Shop, Poundstretcher0 -
I've recently started using Cocoa Brown Tan. The 1hr tan had me a bit daunted as I've only used gradual tanners before, but I find the resulting colour really natural, and it doesn't smell. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

I recently tried sunkissed mousse and I love it. Easy to apply and smells great, you can get it in primark and bodycare xxx0

Hi all, thanks for all your suggestions, will start by trying the Soltan one I think then the others to see which one suits me best (and hope I don't end up too orange and streaky in the process!)0
