I paid for a chiropodist to get rid of hard skin etc, (tried doing it myself, but couldn't get my feet in the condition that she managed to) and now moisturise daily, sometimes twice a day. I think it was worth paying for one chiropodist treatment so they were in reasonable condition albeit cracked heels. I then have a warm bath, smother them with vaseline as soon as I get out, then put cotton socks on overnight. They feel fantastic in the morning. Other than that I use the Body Shop intensive foot cream morning and night.

I try to use natural skin products as much as possible but the one area which I haven't found one to rival a conventional cream is on my feet. Nothing as yet has beaten the results I have had with Flexitol.

Agree with that. I've tried everything over the years but nothing I have found is as good as Flexitol. Often just the one overnight application is enough for me now.

    Brill stuff.

Was telling a friend about the state DH's feet are in, and he said he gets something on prescription from his GP when his feet are bad. Calmurid - it's the only thing which works for him, but I think it is a POM.

Huh! Don't know about MXW's lot, but DS3 had a 'vocational taster' this morning, during which they learned to give hand and arm massages (he'd been sent to 'Hair', because he hadn't made any choices). I said I'd LOVE to have a hand or arm massage, but he refused! I'm talking arms or hands here, not feet, feeling very hard done by!

i had been advised not to soak as it leads to u losing the natural moisture in skin and causes further dryness.
so just wash, pumice and moisturise then socks/cling film.
    works for me
    Nice to save.
