Hi all
My car broke down on thursday  and its looking terminal:mad: .
OH has had a look at it and then we limped it to garage. Won't get the final diagnosis til a few days into this week.
So what am i going to do? I had been planning to get a new one in about 6 months time (starting new job in oct and will be in much better financial position). But now i feel like its being forced on me - dont know what to do
OH has said he'll lend me £££ to get a new one but i am trying to get of debt not into more

I'd take a guess that him lending you the cash will be a million times cheaper than borrowing from vultures on the high street."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Is there ANY way at all that you can manage until you start the new job? If not, then OH offer would be your best option. Sometimes we need to borrow, we just need to borrow carefully.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
