Controlaccount plc late payment fees question

Hi
i hope this is the right place to ask. Couple days ago i recived letter from Controlaccount plc that i need to pay DHL duty and vat.
The price is 134pounds + 40 pounds late payment fees.
I would like to know if i can pay DHL only 134 pounds and ignore those 40 pounds fees? Or better pay hole amount to Controlaccount plc?
I'm scared that they can affect my credit record if i will transfer only money i own DHL?
