Sports Direct! Ahhh

Purchased some sandals today. They were £16.99. They came up on the till as £11.20 which I paid.

Anyway it is only when I got home and unpacked them (and the receipt) that I realised the receipt said "Full Millystripe Tee" and had a product code. I put the product code into their website and it is a T shirt, which is £11.20.

I do not get what the silly girl on the till has done - she has scanned a T shirt but I purchased sandals. My query is, that should I have any problems with the sandals I will not be able to take them back.

Of course, I did not pay the full amount but that is there fault, not mine.

Luckily the scanners did not go off in the shop when I left - the receipt did not correlate to what I purchased.
