Southern Rail are emailing customers with the message: "Your next trip could get off to an even better start - with an exclusive 15% discount on the standard station price of many Off-Peak tickets when you book online by 1st June."
Don't be conned this offer is so full of exclusions you will almost certainly be better to ignore it and book the cheapest deal available on their web site.

Well I got the offer and I don't see any exclusions there I wouldn't have expected.

Not available for Super Off Peak tickets is one exclusion that could mean that the 15% discounted ticket doesn't offer the cheapest available option.

I clicked through from the email and entered a known journey and there are 4 cheaper fares than the 15% off "special offer". The 4 cheaper options are shown on the normal Southern page but not on the one displayed from the email link.

Not sure it's a "con" but at the least it could mislead the less savvy purchaser.
