I don't know what they're called or where you buy them (I know this doesn't sound promising) but I've seen little men in various guises made from nuts and bolts and there's definitely a drummer one as I nearly bought it for my husband who is a drummer. I will keep looking and edit my post if I find them!

  • why not make him a gift basket as others have on here but put the contents in a toy drum? you can still buy him new drumsticks etc to go with it.

I bought my drummer boyf a drummer t-shirt from eBay, a set of Finger Drums for his desk at work, and some tickets to the Music Show at the NEC in October (?).

I am always looking for good gifts for my BF as he is also a drummer. I tend to get him tickets to his favourite bands if they are affordable. Mine also loves Animal from the muppets, so something with that always goes down well. Sorry for no real help, good luck.

My husband is a drummer and he wouldn't appreciate any "ornamental" drumming gifts (just his choice!) He'd much prefer vouchers for the local drum shop so he can buy something to add/replace on his kit. If you want to buy something yourself, suggestions are stick bag or cymbal bag. So many of the other bits of the kit (including sticks) are personal - I didn't know there were so many different types of drumsticks until I met him!!!!!

I agree with Jacklia, i have steered clear of buying drumming kit for my BF as he is picky! Vouchers are the best idea for something drum related, but as i said music is what he loves the most so favourite band etc.

It'd probably look very nice, but he's a drummer and will probably use them, so they WILL get broken, how about a stick bag, that he can hang from his kit, you could probably make one with his name on it

My husband is also a drummer and it's his birthday soon - I agree with not buying the drumsticks, there are so many types and they come in all different sizes. Fortunately, I know which size my husband uses so I always amaze the man in the local drum shop when he asks which size I want!

I've bought him lots of stuff over the years, including silver drum cufflinks and even practise pads to go over the drum skins (they dull the noise!)
One of his favourite things is a long tube shaped 'holster'-type thing which clamps to one of his cymbal stands and is used to store a few spare drum sticks which can then be grabbed quickly if a stick breaks during a gig. He's used it many times!

Have a look on e-bay, they have a range of T-shirts for drummers and other musicians.
