First let me congratulate you all on your forthcoming weddings! it's been nearly 2 years since I got married.

Now when I used to post on here there was a "help me find it" thread but I can't find it so hope no one minds me starting it again... Of if anyone can find it can you let me know and I'll request a merger.

So I'm after some emerald green shoes.
My best friend is getting married and I've bought this dress.

I really want some emerald green shoes to go with it. But I'm fussy when it comes to shoes. They must be good quality so they can be worn again with different outfits. I don't like peephole shoes, but don't mind sandals. They need to have a modest 8-10cm heel.And they need to have some sort of ankle strap. I have narrow heels and find traditional court shoes just slip all over the place. Oh and I'd really rather they weren't platform shoes.

They may be a bit too high by an inch or so, but they are certainly green!

Have you thought about buying some plain shoes that have everything you want and then either having them glittered or put crystals on them in the colour you want? Xxx

Thanks justanopinion! Sadly being a size 4 anything taller than 10cm, unless platformed, becomes just too steep for my foot.

Trixsie, I have... I've also thought about getting something like rainbow club shoes and getting them dyed the colour I want, but I'm not sure if satin'd go with the dress. (You can't really see from the picture but the material is textured, almost like a weave.)

It's a nightmare... This is the last time I'm buying a dress first!! Next time I'll buy the shoes first and buy a dress to go with them. Lol.

These are emerald green shoe bows that you clip onto a pair of shoes you already have. Might be helpful if you don't find a decent pair of shoes.
