This has already been posted here yesterday at 7:07pm so you haven't even got the excuse of it being ages ago, it was on the same page! Ryanski can you please check before posting things that they haven't been posted already as it's hard enough to get through all the stuff anyway!!

I see you also did it with the free ice cream with New Woman Mag thread and that had only been posted an hour earlier!!!! Have you tried the search tool? You only have to type the product in and search before posting to see if it's a duplicate, very easy to do!

If a Mod's reading can you merge the threads please, cheers.

    Thank you :D

I understand everyone's eager to post stuff, so am I! So many times I've found things but someone has always got there before me! And then I wouldn't dream of posting it again as the person that posted it first is the one who deserves the credit! Many thanks for all your hard work merging threads, it makes it much easier to get round to reading everything!

    Thanks Jay,

I totally understand your views on this matter, I remember the times when as a newbie I would duplicate post :o

I understand that it is frustrating at times to find the same things posted time and time again but more often than not, it is just a mistake and unintentional, Jo and I always try to do our utmost to keep the board as tidy and readable as possible. And I'm sure I speak for both of us when I say I'd like to thank everyone here for your understanding, help and co-operation with keeping this board a great place to visit.

    Rush x

No problem, Ryanski. Lots of people are so eager to post their finds that they forget to use the search facility. :)

It just cuts down on duplications when people do search before posting and helps us all to spot the new freebies and bargains! :D

The New Adventures series of Doctor Who novels were an experiment by Virgin Books to continue the Doctor's travels in print, following the TV show's cancellation in 1989.

Between 1992 and 1997, 61 New Adventures were published, pitting the Seventh Doctor - alongside Ace and new companion Bernice Summerfield - against such scary monsters as the Cybermen, the Sontarans and the Chelonians - giant tortoises with a penchant for flower arranging.

In 1996, BBC Books decided that as part of its merchandising plans to accompany the anticipated rebirth of Doctor Who following the TV Movie, Virgin's current publishing licence - coincidentally due to expire - would not be renewed.

With the publication of The Eight Doctors in June 1997, a new era for the Doctor in print had begun, taking with it much of the writing talent that had developed over the previous five years.

Meanwhile, copies of the now out-of-print New Adventures became sought after collectibles. Some could command as much as fifty times their cover price on online auction sites such as eBay.

We're now publishing a series of these books online, for free. Each comes with a whole host of extras, including brand new illustrations and detailed commentaries from the authors.
