Subsequent (or follow up) Credit Search

Hello,
Can anyone shed more light as to what the reasons for this could be?
We applied for a mortgage with Natwest (through Broker) 28.04.14.
Got a Credit Search alert by Natwest on the same day.
On the 1st of May, Identity Check to Comply With Anti Money Laundering Regulations (Soft check - no impact to credit score) from RBSG.
Today we had another soft search recorded by Natwest titled 'Subsequent or Follow Up Credit Search.
What does this mean? If anything at all?
My credit score/file has improved (slightly) since the first search, if anything, but wondering if this is a standard procedure or they're looking for something specific?..
Thank You in advance!

Hi Coco,
I am going through the same process at the moment with Natwest through Broker. I have the same credit searches as you. Still waiting for outcome.
Has yours gone through yet?0 -

Hi there
Yes, got semi-good news (Approved Subject to Valuation) last week and full approval confirmed on Friday! Just waiting for the papers in the post... It took a few days after the last follow up search appeared on my credit report...
Took us almost a month but we picked the most bank-holiday rich month of the year AND Post-MMR shake up couldn't have sped things up
All the best to you, don't stress too much! (Easy to say, I know!)0 -
