Hi,
I was wondering would someone be able to help me.
Due to different circumstances my Mortgage with Halifax has been in arrears. I have had around £1200 applied to the Mortgage for management fees. The arrears stood at roughly £5000 all in.
I appeared in court late last year to explain the circumstances and the judged ruled that a suspended possession order would be in place. Since then Halifax have added a further £1600 fee to my account in order to pay for the legal service. ( i appeared in court and got legal aid, the fee is for their legal team).
Since last year i have paid £4000 pound toward recovering the arrears. however there is still over £2500 to be paid given that i was given this additional £1600 and the interest on the higher part of the mortgage.
I was wondering if there is anyway i can protest against these changes which i believe are over and above £2500.....
Any Help at all would be great

If you let it get that far, ie going to court, then I very much doubt you have much chance.
Solicitors charge over £100 per hour plus VAT and a barrister would be over £1000 per day if a court appearance is necessary."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0
