We recently bought some return tickets from London Midland for a June trip.and they say we will be charged ten pounds per ticket for cancellation. Is this legitimate or is there any other option to get our money back?
Thanks

It's legitimate.
Given they are offering a refund for a £10 fee these must be flexible tickets which you needn't have bought in advance - best not to next time until you are 100% sure0 -
No, the refund isn't 10, the cancellation charge is 10.0

edited to make it clearer0 -
I think they were cheaper in advance which is why we bought them.0

£10 fee is not bad, sometimes there are no refunds for cancellations and it's £10 to change the journey details.0

Normally there is no refund at all on that type of ticket. Subject to some small print a date change is permitted for a £10 fee plus any difference in fare, but no refund
LM do have occasional offers though with non-standard T&C - maybe you had one of them0
