Devon Life is delighted to have teamed up with the Waterside Bistro to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a delicious meal for four at this award-winning restaurant, which offers an authentic bistro dining experience. Positioned on the beautiful banks of the River Dart, in the heart of the historic town of Totnes, its large terrace has both open and covered seating so that both al fresco dining and summer barbeques can be enjoyed.
Owned by chef Matt Buzzo and his wife Delphine, the Waterside Bistro is widely renowned for Matt’s inspired menus and cuisine using seasonal ingredients, with freshly caught fish and shellfish a speciality.
In addition, one runner-up will win a cream tea for four at The Venus Caf! at The Shops at Dartington. Twice winner of the Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development (in 2010 and 2005), the family run The Venus Company serves a delicious array of locally sourced, tempting food and drink from their caf! located at The Shops at Dartington. The Venus Company’s beach caf!s, takeaways and shops can also be found at some of the region’s most beautiful beaches.
