Capital One & HSBC DMP

:o Hi
I was wondering whether anyone has dealt with companyies on DMP? I've just sent my letters, I was just trying to figure out the type of response I might get? I think i've been quite responsible - I quit a temp job to take a perm one - slightly less money but good bonus earning capacity.
But Id like to know how they might be respond?

Thanks

Pippa

Hi Pippa, we have both on our DMP.

Capital One took a while to freeze the interest but were very happy with a pro-rata payment for six months, they recently sent a letter and we increased the payments a tad and they've accepted that for a further six months.

HSBC had to pass the debt onto their debt collection agency (DCA) before they could freeze interest, but also accepted a pro-rata payment and we've not heard from them since.

I can only echo the other posting - Capital One have been fine and were the first to agree.
