Hi,
I wish somebody can help me.
Hi, I am using my own car to work and I would like claim milleage relief.
Last year I done it and I had no problems I used P87 form because amount was less then £2500 but this year I struggle because I need to do Self Assesment tax return because the amount is over £2500 and I can't use P87 form. I just can't find it right boxes.
I am employed NO SELF EMPLOYED and I am using HMRC online servie.
Please Help ME
So far I done:
*registered in HMRC
*activated self assessment service
*I have got amount which I want to claim (miles x £0.45 - amount received from employer.
*I have got my P60 letters, my tax code letters and bank statments
*I done two first point (Welcome and tell us about you)
what I should do next??? What I should tick to claim fuel tax relief and where I shwhould put the amounts because for me HMRC never done that right. They didn't say where you should put that down like in P87 form and I have got no idea.
Please only helpful replies
