Student Loan

Hi All,

My daughter is currently starting her second year. I am currently sorting out the student application. They require my P60 for the 2012/2013 year which is fine. The concern I have is that I lived on my own upto November 2013 so in theory they should only need my details. They are also asking for details from my partner for the same period even though we did not live together then. They also want to know our current household income. Has anyone else been in this situation?

I would appreciate any help. These things are always so confusing.

Thanks

Did your partner help and support you financially / provide another source of income? If not, I'd just say there were no details to give. If you're unsure just give them a call.
  • They should only require your details unless you have lots of shared accounts with your partner? They are essentially checking for association with someone with bad credit, however it's not that big a deal when looking at student loans for your child either way
